apartment for now. its in Vesterbro, a pretty central part of Copenhagen, 15 mins walk from the main station. its described on the map as "a traditional working class area, offers hip designer shops and trendy cocktail bars". lots of cafes dotting Sonderboulevard where people have coffee or brunch. things are very expensive here, a bus ride is 5 sgd and so is a slice of bread.
today mostly got lost (everything looks the same to me), the airport and transition in public transport across various trains was a blur, also quite the nightmare dragging 20kg of stuff up and down stairs and escalators, finally to Vesterbro along cobbled street --- not luggage friendly.
Copenhagen seems rather small, i couldnt cycle on aaron's bike which was too high, so mostly walked along the city, up and down Sonderboulevard and Central Station because i was so lost and cold. There is a new theme park called the Tivoli right behind Central Station which all the websites and people seem to say is a "must go". but today i met a girl from Yale and she told me it was lame and Disneyland was better. we shared a cold bus ride together with a crazy italian man who kept asking for hugs and kisses.
