every once in a while i read something that completely changes my view on things, and my thoughts/life just goes hurtling in a new direction. TODAY IS SUCH A DAY!
on the eve of this new year (i see that as a sign. also extra auspicious!! woo~~) and after a weekend of the meanest bout of stomach flu i have ever experienced, i resolve to:
1) be kinder
2) be braver
3) to know when i am wrong
4) be willing to change
cheesy mopey ending note: thank you to my family and friends who have been here this year/thus far (so unpoetic..but im sure you ALL know who you are)...it wasnt easy, but we made it! the chinese believe we must always repay the kindness of others. one day, i will make sure you guys reap the fruits of believing in me and just basically...being my true friends. or tireless, loving parents, brothers, dog. that was really, all i ever needed.
life is a strange thing and every time i think i finally get it, something new comes along to shake up my perspective. its a little bit happy, sad, surprising, disappointing, a little bit of everything my useless vocabulary range cannot describe. but if theres one thing i decided on after mulling on it for the past 2 weeks...it is that i will NEVER EVER EVER GIVE UP on myself no matter what happens. i'm all set to ride this motherfucking storm!!!
